To ensure that the equipment and pipelines pass the purging and pressure testing, colleagues, please share your opinions: should it be a water pressure test or a steam pressure test?
I think they can all meet the requirements, but for most devices, using water is rather troublesome; steam is generally used for normal operation
After regular maintenance, steam pressure testing is generally carried out. The gas separation unit is pressurized with medium-pressure air.
If it is the first start-up of a new unit, water pressure testing is used; for subsequent starts, steam pressure testing is generally employed. There is also pressure testing of the atmosphere device using medium-pressure air, as mentioned above.
Our unit has resumed normal operations and is conducting steam pressure testing
