I would like to ask about the source of the gas in atmospheric and vacuum distillation units. Thank you!
There are system gases from pipeline networks (coking, catalytic processes, etc.), as well as gases produced by steam distillation and reduced pressure venting.
Please clarify whether the gas used in the atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit is produced internally or is used for its heating furnaces.

The atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit has two sources of gas: the non-condensable gases from the top of the atmospheric tower and the exhaust gases from the vacuum extraction system. Of course, if there is a primary distillation system, there will also be primary overhead gas!
The amount of gas from the atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit is too low; it’s practically useless. If the unit is to be used, the gas must come from the system’s pipeline network
The source includes non-condensable gas with initial head, constant head, and reduced head. Commonly known as Sanding gas. What’s burning inside the furnace is more complicated, hehe
