The cold wave is arriving tomorrow, and the staff in charge of the control systems will have to stay on high alert again! During the last cold wave, the lowest temperature here was -10 degrees Celsius, and due to issues with utility services, there were two shutdowns. What about you?

It hasn’t happened to us, but for things like voltage-controlled devices, flow meters, and level gauges, it’s important to pay attention; adjust them manually when necessary to ensure safety. Enhance inspections, compare primary and secondary meters promptly, use steam to warm areas prone to freezing, and install heat tracing in the coming year.
There are always some problems whenever a cold wave hits, but the shutdowns mentioned by the poster seem a bit excessive. Are the public services referred to by the poster affected by the wind? Is there a desiccant at the exit of the air compressor station? You can try adding more rows of condensers on the buffer tank of the air intake device
