What is the finishing of rolling bearings? What is the role of finishing?

Is it finishing machining? The finishing of the rolling surface of bearings refers to the final fine processing that is still required for the rolling surface of bearing components after grinding. The main finishing processes include polishing, lapping, superfinishing, and ultra-precision lapping. When grinding the rolling surfaces of bearing components, factors such as the precision of the grinding machine, vibrations and deformations during grinding, high temperatures, as well as processing efficiency and cost, have an impact on the results. It is difficult to achieve the desired levels of surface roughness, surface waviness, geometric accuracy, and the physical and mechanical properties of the surface layer. Therefore, after grinding, the rolling surfaces of bearing components usually require further finishing processes in order to meet the technical requirements for those surfaces in a stable, reliable, and cost-effective manner.
