The baseline is unstable after chromatographic injection

We are using a Shimadzu GC2014c here; it has been in use for one and a half years. Half a year ago, the baseline started to become unstable. We analyze hydrogen and oxygen content in chlorine. The baseline is stable before sample injection, but it fluctuates severely as soon as the peaks appear. We have to perform offline adjustments each time, and sometimes it’s not possible to distinguish between the peaks. What’s going on?

Stable baseline indicates that the detector is functioning properly. Instability after sample injection may be due to two reasons: one is air leakage, primarily caused by silicone gaskets, and the other is the issue with the chromatography column mentioned earlier
