During the annual overhauls, ammonia leaks occur in the equipment; when parchment is laid at the bottom of the equipment, it tends to fall off easily. How do you address this issue?
We usually add adhesive around the edges of the filter paper.

We once made the test strip thinner, and things improved a bit, but it didn’t solve the problem fundamentally. I’m not sure if using a stainless steel mesh support would work
Simply wet the test strip with clean water and then place it on the weld. Doing this is not only convenient but also facilitates inspection. If the test strip changes color, it indicates a leak. Conversely, it indicates that there is no leakage.
Doesn’t that indirectly dilute the phenolphthalein solution? Also, according to the experience of experienced workers, it is best to check when the test strip is almost dry, as this makes it easier to detect minor leaks. Do you start checking right after applying phenolphthalein?
