As the name implies, a filter serves to filter and screen substances. A coarse filter performs initial filtration, removing possible dust particles and oil from compressed air (as the exhaust gas from screw air compressors contains oil). A fine filter is one with higher precision; it filters the air that has already been coarsely filtered, thereby controlling the level of oil and other impurities in the air to meet the requirements of the manufacturing process.
