A methanol content of over 20% is sufficient; if the methanol level in the washing solution is too high, it will result in poor cleaning performance!
If the content of crude methanol is low, it can be added to the extraction water used in distillation. Being too high will result in poor cleaning performance.
The purity of the alcohol after purification in our company’s monol alcohol system is generally around 50%. In fact, the level of this concentration isn’t that important, as it mixes with the crude methanol coming from the alcohol source once it enters the crude methanol tank, and at that point the concentration increases!
This is related to your pure methanol system: the density of the crude alcohol is too high, the methanol content in the liquid is low, the load on the pure methanol production process is high, energy consumption is high, and the output of the product is low.
