What are the advantages of using electric valves in circulators in the ammonia synthesis production process? ?
All the new cycle machines we have for turbines do not come with electric drives. But there is one that is very, very old and it’s electric... I guess it’s because the machine is on top while the valve is below, so with an electric version there’s no need to go down to operate it, that’s just my guess, hehe... I’m learning from this too
There is only one reason for using electric valves: it helps to save effort. The valves in our factory are manual, and it takes two or three workers to operate them. Now, we have replaced them with electric ones for maintenance purposes as well
In ammonia synthesis production, the circulation pump is a relatively important piece of equipment, and electric valves along with manual valves are commonly used in conjunction. In emergency situations, the switching speed of the electric valve is relatively fast, making it easy to achieve proper control (such as when the circulation pump stops operating, the synthesis tower needs to be shut down urgently due to gas supply issues, or the purification system comes to a halt)
