Could someone please advise on how to use the extracted Aspen property data?
Let’s first look at chemical thermodynamics; only by understanding those concepts can one know it
It’s available under Tools; you can look for it there to check the material properties
Enter the component under Components/Specifications, and click Review in the lower right corner to view the physical properties of that substance. If the Aspen database does not have this substance, it cannot be found; another approach must be taken.
Another method: Visit the NIST website for inquiries at http://webbook.nist.gov/chemistry/. To conduct a search, you need to enter details such as Name/Formula/CAS number or Structure on the webpage, and this will allow you to obtain data such as IR and MS information.
