Which coking plants use mother liquor heaters instead of gas preheaters in their ammonium sulfate production units? How is it working?

Compared to a gas preheater, the use of a mother liquor heater has the advantage of being able to reduce the resistance in the saturator; The disadvantages are 1: the mother liquor heater is prone to clogging. 2. It is not as convenient to heat with a gas preheater. For reference.
I agree with the view expressed above. In mother liquor circulation systems that use a mother liquor preheating device, cone-bottom saturators are employed; this results in larger crystal sizes and prevents crystals from depositing on the walls of the cone bottom
Who says mother liquor heaters get clogged? Our factory has been using them for almost two years without any such problems. With these heaters, the crystal particles are large and the temperature is easy to control; just be careful to monitor the current of the circulation pump.
It should also be noted that the mother liquor heater occupies little space and is easy to maintain safely.

The mother liquor heater is not prone to clogging, and it actually never clogs at all. If the heater were to clog, then the pump used for discharging the product would have stopped working countless times by now. High material requirements are imposed on mother liquor heaters; chloride ions in ammonium sulfate cause severe corrosion of stainless steel, and the only concern is corrosion.
