The design specifications for petrochemical storage and transportation systems mention gas vent connection pipes, stating that safety valves are connected to these gas vent connection pipes. But where is the vent pipe connected to? Logically, it should be the vent or breathing valve that is connected to the gas release connection pipe. Let’s all talk about it
For safety reasons, the junction pipe, which is the pipe that connects the vent pipes together, sends the fluid to the flare system. Storage and distribution stations typically have many storage tanks, and their vent pipes need to be connected together and led to a flare located away from the tanks for venting.
I came up with a design in which the air defense pipes for the reaction vessels are placed directly on the vessels themselves, without being connected to any main pipelines; they are located right inside the workshop. I’m not sure what the consequences of this would be
