In our centrifuge oil circuit system, the oil level in the tank is above the maximum operating level; there is also a shutdown oil level. Why does a high oil level in the tank cause the machine to shut down?
I suspect you are referring to the high oil sump of the compressor. Then it’s not a shutdown due to high liquid level, but rather a shutdown due to low liquid level in the high-level oil tank. If the liquid level is too high, it can flow back.
I’m not sure what type of transmission system it is, but an excessively high oil level may cause the rotating components to come into contact with the oil surface, resulting in heat generation. This in turn can lead to excessive temperatures, which also can cause an interlocked shutdown.
