Which design institutes or companies in East China allow one to work there in order to be eligible to take the exam for Certified Chemical Engineer?
Either one will work, as long as it’s a design institute or an engineering company
Is that so? Without the necessary qualifications, what are these requirements for Class A or Class B?
It seems that as long as it is a design department or an engineering company, they meet the application requirements. It is recommended to check the relevant documents on the exam website

Design institutes, engineering companies, and owner’s companies are all acceptable, as long as the educational requirements and work experience criteria are met
