⑵ Corrosion conditions in the fractionation tower (mainly 19#-30# trays): ①, 21# tray baffle plate, heavy diesel oil (21# extracted) liquid seal plate is severely corroded, and the liquid receiving plate and downcomer plate have fallen off. ②, 22#, 23#, 24#, and 25# layer tray baffles, downcomer plates, and liquid receiving plates are severely corroded, some of them have been corroded, and fasteners have fallen off. ③Due to corrosion, the fasteners and support rings of the 27# and 24# layer trays fell off, and half of the trays tilted. ④, The oil and gas distribution plate was seriously damaged by corrosion, the distribution plate was partially corroded, thinned and perforated, and the cap of the rising cylinder was corroded and fell off.
This situation is considered serious corrosion of the fractionation tower. Check whether the tower material selection is wrong and there are materials that are corrosive to the tower materials, such as acidic materials.
The author can check the information on naphthenic acid corrosion, which should be related to the temperature of each section. I can’t remember the specific data!
Although the author did not describe the corrosion phenomenon in detail, it seems to be acid corrosion (containing naphthenic acid). It is estimated that the anti-corrosion measures in the process are insufficient or failed.
It should be a problem with naphthenic acid. We generally use 316L material in this position.
