I’m working on a project that requires the design of an adsorption tower. I’ve read Ye Zhenhua’s book on chemical adsorption and separation processes, but I’m still not entirely clear about the approach to take. Does anyone have similar process calculation documents that I could refer to? Thank you

Since the adsorption tower is subject to pressure fluctuations during operation, it is designed as a fatigue-resistant vessel; therefore, it must be designed in accordance with JB4732-95 (Steel Pressure Vessels – Analysis and Design Standards), with reference to JB/T4710-2005 and HG20652-1998.

It depends on whether you need a process calculation sheet or a equipment calculation sheet. The techniques are kept secret; no true expert will tell you ; If you need a equipment calculation sheet, you can spend some money to hire a specialist to carry out fatigue analysis and obtain it.
