The mechanical seal for PHPE-type pumps is the stationary bellows seal DBM60B-1 produced by Limin. It requires that the part with the bellows be connected to the sealing gland, while the part without a bellows should be connected to the shaft sleeve. However, **sometimes technicians install them in reverse; is this acceptable?
