In the first batch of general trade coke export quotas issued by the Ministry of Commerce for 2010, the total quota amount was 6.1 million tons, an increase of 320,000 tons compared to the total quota of 5.78 million tons for the first batch last year. It is reported that this year’s quota allocation is primarily based on the actual export figures of various enterprises from January to October 2007 to 2009, and it continues to follow the principle of giving preference to manufacturing companies. This year, 18 enterprises in our province have been allocated 3.54 million tons of quotas, while in the same period last year 20 enterprises in our province received 3.32 million tons of quotas; this represents an increase of 220,000 tons this year compared to last year.
