Two Roots three-blade blowers in our facility are connected in parallel, but this always causes one of them to shut down (due to current overload); such a problem does not occur when they are used individually. There is suspicion of a blockage in the pipeline downstream, but the system still shuts down even after that pipeline is checked. What could be the reason for this?
The pipeline is too narrow; when a large volume of gas flows through it, the resistance downstream becomes excessive, resulting in high outlet pressure

I’m not sure whether the situation you’re referring to occurs during the startup phase of parallel operation or after the machines start operating in parallel. If one machine is running normally and another stops working when it’s connected, then the problem is most likely related to the operation methods of the Roots blower (such as the circulation valve of the Roots blower being closed too quickly, or the outlet pressure being too high). If both machines stop working while they are operating normally, then it’s probably a problem with the process system (such as large fluctuations in pressure and flow rates, or unstable operation), which causes the Roots blowers to overload and stop working. Another possibility is that there is a design issue (such as pipeline resistance, system resistance, or the flow rate of the medium in the pipelines not matching the actual conditions)
The pipeline is related to the power supply; otherwise, it wouldn’t cause voltage-related tripping.
