Before New Year’s Day, I bought some dried goods (walnuts, ginkgo nuts, almonds), along with sausages that my mother-in-law gave me. Sent it back to my hometown in the northeast. My father is not in good health; he has diabetes. These things aren’t very helpful for treating diseases. But they’re still edible. The items were delivered today. Dad ate it and called, crying! I guess it’s tens of thousands of kilometers (actually, it’s just over two thousand kilometers)! It must be a cry of emotion (my dad is the kind of person with very deep feelings!) ) Actually, sending things at that time was also a spur of the moment idea. There isn’t much stuff; it fits in a shoebox! I always feel that I’m too far from home to do anything for my parents. Thinking about it now, parents really don’t need to do anything. It’s easy to satisfy. Perhaps just one walnut could move him for half a year. Last time, I sent some bitter gourd slices (which were also cheap), and it is said that people with diabetes benefited from drinking them. My dad has been nagging about it for almost half a year. I used to never like calling my parents. Especially after starting work. They’re too lazy even to send text messages. And sometimes when parents send messages, I still feel grateful. Alas! I really can’t understand the minds of the elderly! It’s changing gradually now; we call each other often (the elderly still think phone calls are expensive, but they still hope you’ll call). Oh, parents’ hearts! My dad! A 1.83-meter-tall man from the Northeast. A tough guy who was a police officer for many years. Old! Even if you don’t do anything materially. But mentally, you need to make them feel that you are with them! Parents’ love is as high as the sky and as deep as the sea! Children will always be in debt to their parents! Let’s all leave messages wishing our parents health and a long life!
Being filial is worth learning from*. One must show filial piety while one’s parents are still alive. I used to think that earning more money so that my parents could live a good life was the way to show filial piety. So I just knew to work hard. One day, my mother passed away. I am heartbroken. My parents don’t expect me to earn a lot of money to bring home; they just want me to visit often. They didn’t touch a single penny of the money sent to them.
Well, that’s how it is. By doing small things, we can touch our parents’ hearts~~~ I wish all parents in the world good health and a long life
Wish my parents health and a long life! ! ! I’m so touched! !
Well said; parents everywhere are the same
Well said; parents everywhere are the same
The kindness shown by parents cannot be repaid by their children. :handshake
"The song “Go Home Often” is a true reflection of this reality. Parents don’t have any grand expectations; they just want to see their children living happily, to be seen by them more often, and to have their care. This is especially true for those who are far away from home – they should return more often, stay in touch, and try to be with their parents if they can. Most of us are ordinary people who won’t be able to make any great contributions to the world; we just strive to make ends meet. But it’s still important to show care and concern for our parents.
Mm-hm, yeah, maybe just a little bit can touch parents
