What preparations must be made for the equipment before introducing circulating water, instrument air, nitrogen, and steam?
It mainly involves coordination among various positions, as well as the readiness of different work sections; the pipes also need to be warmed up with steam.
1. Confirm that the pipeline installation is complete, the pressure testing has passed, and the three inspections and four fixations have been carried out (check whether accessories such as drain lines and vent lines are installed). 2. Mainly valve verification and parameter adjustment
Before putting pipelines into use, the three inspections and four determinations must be carried out (including external anti-corrosion treatment for underground pipelines). After that, a hydraulic or pneumatic pressure test is required. Circulating water must be washed thoroughly and chemically pre-coated. When putting air or nitrogen pipelines into use, the valves should be kept partially open to prevent surging in the air compressor due to pressure changes. Steam pipes need to be warmed up, and if they are to feed into a compressor, a firing test must be conducted
