I would like to ask my colleagues: if given the chance to choose again, would you prefer to work in a state-owned enterprise or a private company?
Considering the company’s development prospects and scale, I generally choose state-owned enterprises.
I also choose large state-owned enterprises; large private enterprises are fine too. In short, only by going to large companies can one find a way forward.
State-owned enterprises are legitimate; I’ve never worked there, but I have some admiration for them.

Nevertheless, overall, state-owned enterprises remain relatively stable. Given the current situation, large state-owned enterprises in particular will face difficulties during the process of transformation in the future. Private enterprises are relatively better due to their flexible mechanisms, so one should think in the long term and not worry about whether it is a state-owned or private enterprise.
State-owned enterprises ensure that one won’t go hungry or become impoverished; there’s no need to worry about getting fired. As long as the company stays in business, you’ll always have a job – it’s a typical 9-to-5 workplace. The basic salary is very low, but there are numerous benefits. Our company offers around 30 different types of benefits and allowances; even the finance department doesn’t fully understand how these benefits and allowances are provided.
It mainly depends on the company’s prospects. In any case, there are advantages and disadvantages; it depends on how you think about it.
Whether it’s a state-owned enterprise or a private company, go to places where you can learn something. You’re still young now; it’s not too late to go to a more stable environment after you turn 50, haha.
It depends on an individual’s goals~ but it’s better to try to get into large companies.
