The thermal gas mass flow installation position is between the dust removal outlet (electrostatic precipitator) and the fan inlet. After a production shutdown for maintenance, the meter reading was only half of the previous reading. Please tell me why the flow data measured by the thermal gas mass flow meter has declined?
Measure the sensor resistance and compare it with the data provided by the manufacturer. It is possible that the heating wire is broken. Or the gas temperature deviates from the design specification and the gas moisture content is large, which can cause this phenomenon. This type of flow meter used by our company is being phased out due to high failure rates.
This phenomenon can also occur if the probe is dirty.
A large part of the reason for the decrease in flow rate is due to impurities clogging the throttle or sensor contamination. If the throttle distributor is clogged, you can use gas backflushing to test the effect. If the sensor is clogged, it must be returned to the manufacturer for replacement. In addition, since the thermal gas flowmeter has relatively high requirements on the medium to be measured, it is best to install a filter at the front end.
