The virus is caused by acad.vlx. Method to remove the virus: Step 1: After closing CAD, search for acad.vlx throughout the system, and then delete all instances of acad.vlx that are found. Step 2: Usually, there is a logo.gif file in the Help directory; delete it as well. Methods to save graphic files: 1. After closing CAD, search the entire drive for acad.vlx files; rename one of them as a.vlx to keep it, and then delete all the acad.vlx files that were found. 2. Restart CAD, open the corrupted graphic file, go to the “Tools” menu and select “Load Application”, choose to load the backed-up a.vlx file, and enter re_cover in the command line to restore the disrupted and hidden drawings. 3. After all the corrupted files have been repaired, close CAD, then search for acad.vlx throughout the entire drive once more, and delete all instances of acad.vlx that are found. Special note: 1.
