Please share how your organization cleans the oxygen pipelines that come from air separation units when driving Should chemical cleaning be done first, followed by purging? Is compressed air or steam used for purging?
Oxygen pipelines should be purged with oil-free compressed air or nitrogen.
First, the oxygen pipeline needs to be degreased. Clean compressed air or nitrogen can be used.
1# Strong Pines in the Valley: Use high-pressure nitrogen for purging
The high-pressure air from the air separation unit that we use has a pressure maintained at 1.0 MPa (controlled through vent pipes), which ensures that the flow rate of the purging gas is greater than or equal to 20 m/s. Meets the purging requirements. High-pressure air is also filtered and cleaned, preventing contamination of the oxygen pipelines.
Here, we first degrease the oxygen pipeline, and then blow it clean with compressed air
We use medium-pressure nitrogen for purging the oxygen pipelines here
After degreasing, purge with compressed air at >0.6 MPa
It seems that some units use medium-pressure steam for purging.
