Feed location of atmospheric tower

The atmospheric pressure tower has 3 feed inlets; all of them are used during production. How much of each inlet is used? How is this determined in practice?
Sweat! Such problems have not been encountered in methanol distillation; on the other hand, side draws usually have multiple ports. The purpose might be this: if it’s difficult to meet the quality standards, then use the lowest one ； If the kettle liquid is not up to standard, try the top port.

The feed inlet is related to the temperature entering the tower and the feed concentration.
