What is the purpose of the pressure gauge at the pump outlet? I’ve seen some design schemes where the pressure gauge is placed in front of the check valve, while in others it’s placed behind it. Which one is more appropriate?
Monitoring the fluid pressure and the operation of the pump should be done after the check valve, so that it is possible to determine whether both the pump and the check valve are functioning properly.
