Not installing a lean liquid filtration system has little to do with thermal cracking. The lean liquid filtration system is just a relatively safe method. Let’s talk about your process first. Does it pass through the lean liquid storage tank when it comes out of the regeneration tower? (If there is, assume that in the presence of some interfering factors, the rich liquid entering the regeneration tower contains impurities such as iron filings. This will cause the amine liquid to foam. If you do not set up a lean liquid filtration system, impurities will be brought into the entire lean liquid system, causing the entire amine liquid to foam.) As for the problem of large consumption you mentioned, you can start from the following aspects. The main losses during the absorption and analysis process include chemical degradation, mechanical entrainment, and thermal degradation. Is there any leakage in the bottom reboiler, the amount of steam, and the pressure. How is the air cooling effect, the number of tower plates and tower pressure, etc., there are many. I added a rich liquid tank between the flash tank and the regeneration tower to increase the buffering capacity, and there is a lean liquid tank after the regeneration tower.
The lean liquid filter can remove impurities produced by the degradation of amine liquid and slow down the consumption of amine liquid. If the amine liquid is consumed excessively, it is not necessarily the cause of the lean liquid filter. It may be the degradation of the amine liquid caused by the high steam temperature in the reboiler.
