We have many diaphragm pumps in our workshop. Can we change the hydraulic oil to 46# turbine oil? Is there any problem if we switch to it? I would like to ask if using it this way will cause long-term damage to the pump?
The manufacturer's instructions should have recommended lubricant brands. Long-term use may cause damage to the parts in the pump. For example, penetration corrosion of the diaphragm (this problem only occurs on hydraulic diaphragm pumps), and wear of gears and worms due to poor heat conduction.
