It’s to remind you not to forget to double-check the email address before sending an email. :) Here’s the joke: A man checked into a hotel. There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send an email to his wife. However, he accidentally entered the wrong email address and, without realizing his mistake, sent the email. Meanwhile… somewhere in Houston, a widow had just returned from her husband’s funeral. She decided to check her email, hoping to receive messages of condolence from relatives and friends. After reading the first message, she fainted. The widow’s son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor, and saw the computer screen displaying: To: My Loving Wife Subject: I’ve arrived Date: 16 Mar 2008 I know you’re surprised to hear from me. They have computers here, and we’re allowed to send emails to our loved ones. I’ve just arrived and checked in. Everything seems to be ready for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you TOMORROW!
Funny! So don’t forget to check the email address before you send an email!
There is also a computer for everyone in Heaven, and they are allowed to send E-mails to their friends who are still alive.
Here’s a Chinese version with a similar meaning: An employee named X from a company’s HR department was recently transferred to the public relations department on the ground floor. That day, his friend called his former department: \"Is X there?\" ” X’s colleague replied, “He is no longer in HR.” ” Friend: “Huh?” He... when did he leave? ” Colleague: “Last week.” ” Friend: “I had no idea at all… I didn’t even see him off…” Colleague: “It’s okay, just go down and find him, right?” ” Friend: Ah, you really know how to joke. Colleague: It’s not a joke; he said when he left that if anyone misses him, they’re welcome to go down and see him anytime. Friend:. . . . That’s not convenient, is it? . . . Colleague: Well, it’s indeed inconvenient during the day; I’ll have him come to see you in the evening then
Oh, it’s so funny. Thank goodness I don’t have such a habit.
