Is the content roughly high or low? Now we would like to analyze how much urea remains in the residue obtained after the hydrolysis of an urea aqueous solution with a certain urea content. The purified water discharged from the desorption-hydrolysis system is required, according to the design specifications, to have ammonia and urea levels below 5 ppm each; however, only a few systems meet these criteria at present, especially those that operate stably over the long term, and there are various reasons for this. Theoretically, the purified water delivered contains only urea and ammonia; however, due to the erosion of equipment and pipes, there are also trace amounts of metal ions and a small amount of oil in the water. Especially when a reciprocating type carbon dioxide compressor is used, the oil content is higher. The common analysis method is a conductivity meter; when the value is generally below 20, the ion content in the water meets the requirements of the process specifications. The analysis of ammonia and urea contained therein is usually also carried out by the analysis and testing laboratories in regular factories. However, analyzing ammonia and urea in it cannot be done using conventional analytical methods; a microanalyser is required. Large domestic urea plants all meet the requirements.
2# TUOHZHE Thank you for the reply from the person above, but there is one issue: what we are doing now is not deep hydrolysis. It is the hydrolysis of high-concentration urea. Is there any instrument for the constant analysis of urea content? For example, the mass percentage of urea in the urea solution is 5~50%. Additionally, in the hydrolyzed mixed gas, which contains carbon dioxide, ammonia, and water vapor, I would like to measure the concentration of ammonia. Is there any instrument that can be used for this purpose? Thank you.
