Is there any other purpose to pressurize the benzene hydrogenation pre-distillation column besides providing heat to the pure benzene column?
I would like to ask: are there any equipment made of special materials in benzene hydrogenation units? Thank you!

Unit 300: 0 Cr 18 Ni 11 Ti; for pipelines under high temperature and pressure, 0 Cr 18 Ni 9 Ti is used
Is what the poster is referring to pressure application in a pre-distillation tower? The pre-distillation tower operates under pressure; the temperature of the BT component at the top of the tower can reach over 200 degrees, which increases the exergy value. This heat can be used to supply heat to the extraction tower and the reboiler of the BT tower, but the initial investment is high.
There shouldn’t be any other purpose, but heating the pure benzene tower in this way is probably more stable than using steam for heating.
