Why is there an exhaust line that runs from the top of the collection tank of the heat user heat exchanger for the propylene compressor, and what is its purpose? Will it work without this line? Is there any downside to that?
When there is non-condensable gas in the gas-liquid separation tank and it affects the stability of the liquid level in the tank, the non-condensable gas can be discharged into the suction tank between the compressor stages.
For safety reasons, the tank top should also be equipped with a device for automatically draining the non-condensable gases.
