On January 12, the author learned from the Economic and Commercial Bureau of Zhijiang City that Hubei Sanning Chemical Co., Ltd. had just completed the merger and restructuring of Yichang Tiantian Chemical Co., Ltd., and promptly decided to implement energy-saving technological upgrades to the ammonia synthesis plant at Yichang Tiantian Chemical. Recently, the energy-saving technology renovation project for the ammonia synthesis unit at Yichang Tiantian Chemical Co., Ltd. was approved by the Development and Reform Bureau of Yiling District, Yichang City, and authorization for record-keeping was granted. The total investment for the project is 49.8 million yuan, of which 35 million yuan comes from the company’s own funds and 14.8 million yuan from bank loans. The funds are used to carry out energy-saving technology upgrades on various facilities in Yichang Tiantian Chemical’s nitrogen fertilizer production plant, including the compression section, carbon chemical processing section, power supply section, and utility systems. This project is the first step in TianTian’s restructuring plan; Hubei Sanning Chemical intends to invest 100 million to 200 million yuan to increase TianTian Chemical’s total ammonia production to 120,000 tons, with the carbon ammonium output exceeding 300,000 tons, thereby making it one of the largest carbon ammonium producers in the country.
