Dear sea friends, does anyone know how high-pressure, medium-pressure, and low-pressure steam are defined? Are there any standards or regulations that specify this? Thank you!

Low-pressure steam <1.0 MPa; common specifications include 0.3 MPa (G), 0.4 MPa, 0.6 MPa, and 1.0 MPa; Medium-pressure steam: 1.0 MPa – 4.0 MPa; typically 3.2–4.0 MPa. High-pressure steam: 4.0 MPa – 12.0 MPa; usually around 10 MPa
In Singapore, pressures above 5 bar are considered high pressure; pressures above 400° Celsius with 2–5 bar are considered medium pressure, and all pressures below 2 bar are considered low pressure.
I want to find out if there is any standard that specifies what pressure level defines medium pressure, high pressure, and low pressure. Now there are many different explanations, but there is a lack of authoritative confirmation

There are no specific standards; the classification of high-pressure and low-pressure steam varies depending on the industry. Follow the process manual – it is considered the authoritative source. It can be found on page 3-38 of the second edition, categorized by pressure: low pressure
Is 4.0 MPa considered medium pressure?
There’s actually no need to define it so strictly. 4.0 MPa certainly belongs to medium-pressure steam.
