The temperature of the medium being transported is always at room temperature. However, the pump used for vacuum creation handles triethylaluminum, which is a highly reactive substance; those using white oil only transport ordinary media. Triethylaluminum reacts explosively with water and is unstable in air due to its high reactivity!
