As long as the operating conditions are adjusted slowly during normal operation, there will be no problems with slag accumulation on the water wall! The slag accumulation on the water wall can be observed through slag samples! If there are small iron pieces inside, it indicates that the slag attached to the water wall has fallen off! It can also be determined through many parameters!
Generally, such dry-type furnaces have gripping nails on their walls.
In production, fluctuations in the quality of the raw coal can lead to variations in furnace temperature, as well as rapid cooling during shutdowns – especially during emergency shutdowns when the temperature drops too quickly. All of these factors can cause damage to the slag layer on the water wall of the gasification furnace! In severe cases, it can cause the slag layer to collapse and the local lining pins to fall off!
