In China, companies such as Guochuan Air Separation, Hangyang Air Separation, and Kaikong are capable of producing large-scale air separation equipment; abroad, companies like Air Liquide, Linde, and Praxair are involved in this field. These foreign companies have greater recognition and more experience, but domestic manufacturers have also seen rapid development in the production of large-scale air separation equipment in recent years. It’s hard to say something about cost-performance without knowing that.
The major players in the air separation sector are likely the ones mentioned above, which are the leading companies both domestically and internationally. As far as I know in China, Hangyang has an air separation unit with a capacity of 48,000 units at Sinopec Anqing; after two renovations carried out by them, the gas production volume and purity have met the design standards, though the amount of steam used is still relatively high. It can be said that the initial investment abroad is high, but the operating costs later on are higher in domestic markets.

Our company’s air separation unit is the Kaiyuan Air Separation unit; the air pre-cooling system and the molecular sieve purification system it uses are both well-designed and durable. The minor accidents that occur during my daily inspections are also quite rare:victory: Hehe! The purity of both nitrogen and oxygen produced is over 99.7%, and there are also by-products in the form of liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen. Our company has recently installed storage tanks for liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen, hehe. Personally, I think it’s quite advanced! :hug:

Domestic manufacturers have also seen rapid development in recent years; some of the more well-known ones are Chuan Kong, Hangyang, and Kai Kong, with Hangyang being the best among domestic producers. Hangyang Oxygen has mastered the design and manufacturing technology for large-scale air separation units with a capacity of 30,000–60,000 Nm3/h
