Help: This is a low-temperature heat exchanger used for natural gas liquefaction; the gas pressure can reach up to 6 MPa. I’m not sure whether an aluminum heat exchanger can withstand such high pressure. Also, are there any requirements regarding the heat exchange temperature difference for plate heat exchangers? The minimum heat exchange temperature difference calculated is i°C; it’s not clear whether this value can be achieved in practice. If not, then this process will need to be adjusted.....
If I remember correctly, the maximum design pressure for aluminum containers is 8 MPa; it seems that the new regulations have raised this value. I’ll check again tomorrow
At present, for aluminum plate heat exchangers in China, the maximum design pressure is 8 MPa. According to the original old code, the maximum design pressure for aluminum is 8 MPa. The maximum design pressure allowed for new capacity-regulated aluminum is now 16 MPa.

In China, the maximum pressure currently is around 12 points; the value of 16 specified in the regulations is likely to be the pressure level that will be reached in the future. If the pressure exceeds 16, then an approval application will be required.
This pressure meets the requirements of the pressure vessel regulations and the provisions for aluminum welded vessels, so it is entirely achievable.
Has it nothing to do with temperature? I’ll check the capacity specifications
