As far as I know, there are no special additives required for producing heavy traffic asphalt; rather, it is the heavy oil produced in certain regions that is suitable for this purpose, yielding high yields of asphalt of high quality. Some special modified asphalts require the addition of various additives.
The production of heavy traffic asphalt depends mainly on the properties of the crude oil; for heavy traffic asphalt, ductility is a key factor. In the past, we used ductility enhancers
