Since the synthesis process employs the low-temperature methanol washing technique, it is entirely possible to omit the use of hydrolysis agents in the desulfurization section of the plant for converting CO2 into urea. So, which manufacturer produces the desulfurization/dehydrogenation catalysts used in urea plants that employ this same process? 1: How many years has it been in use? 2: What is the desulfurization/dehydrogenation efficiency? 3: Is it still necessary to use a heater, as in the old process, before removal?
