Please help estimate the dimensions of a small packed tower for absorbing hydrogen chloride from air using water at room temperature. The water flow rate is approximately 150 kg/h, the concentration of hydrogen chloride in the air is around 50%, and the total gas flow rate can be adjusted. Packed rings will be used as the packing material. Please provide an estimate of the required height of the packing bed and the inner diameter of the tower. Precise data on the locations and methods of gas and liquid inlet/outlet are not necessary; approximate ranges are sufficient, and a larger margin of error is acceptable. The conditions aren’t detailed enough; I don’t know what size of plastic filler you’re using, nor is the air intake volume known. Anyway, it’s not realistic.
