We have many magnetic pumps made of fluoroplastic alloys available on the market for transporting nitric acid; the material inside such pumps needs to be replaced. When making your selection, you should inform the manufacturer so that they can help you choose the right pump and replace the necessary components. Is it domestic? There’s no problem choosing an imported one. The pumps I sell to Yantai Wanhua have been in use for 8 years; they are magnetic pumps with ETFE linings.

However, practical use has shown that the service life of stainless steel pumps used for transporting nitric acid is not long. Firstly, the mechanical seal of such pumps contains an O-ring made of fluororubber, and over time this O-ring is naturally corroded by nitric acid, leading to leaks. Secondly, nitric acid causes significant corrosion to stainless steel 304. Thirdly, using 316L stainless steel increases the cost of the pump. Therefore, I recommend that fluoroplastic pumps be chosen for handling nitric acid.
