Warehouses should be located away from densely populated areas such as residential zones and commercial centers, as well as from water sources; The warehouse structure should be complete, sturdy, dry, moisture-proof, leak-proof, lightning-proof, have a suitable temperature, and good ventilation. The fire resistance rating of the warehouse shall meet all the requirements specified in the current **standard, namely the Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings, for a building with a fire resistance rating of grade II. (1) Infrastructure: 1. Warning signs for occupational disease hazards in the workplace (GBX1588–2003) and warning signs for highly toxic chemicals ; 2. Install anti-theft doors that meet **safety standards** ; 3. The diameter of the iron bars used for theft prevention in warehouses must be at least 12 mm, and the spacing between these bars must not exceed 10 cm ; 4. Equipped with an anti-theft alarm or surveillance system (video footage must be retained for at least half a month), and it must remain in proper working condition 24 hours a day ; Large storage warehouses and workplaces that constitute major sources of hazard must be connected to the local \"110\" emergency service ; 5. Communication facilities such as emergency phone lines are complete and functional ; 6. Warehouses that meet the conditions can be equipped with security dogs for patrolling and protection ; 7. The storage and usage areas should be equipped with a sufficient amount of protective gloves, gas masks, and protective clothing, as well as emergency first-aid medications for poisoning ; 8. Highly toxic chemicals should be stored separately in dedicated warehouses in accordance with regulations (for small packages of reagents, decisions can be made based on actual circumstances). They must not be stored together with substances that are incompatible with them. The storage standards must comply with relevant regulations, and it is strictly prohibited to bring other flammable and explosive materials into the warehouse ; 9. The reservoir area and storage rooms must be kept clean at all times; scattered highly toxic chemicals, flammable and combustible materials, as well as weeds in the storage area, should be removed promptly. The transportation of highly toxic chemicals must strictly comply with the requirements of relevant safety operating procedures. (II) Special requirements for warehouses storing various highly toxic chemicals: 1. For cyanides, arsenides, and substances packaged in liquid drums or tanks: the warehouse’s anti-theft doors must be equipped with two locks; one of these doors should have a hidden latch. 2. Compressed gases such as liquid chlorine and oxygen: (1) Under the conditions of adequate ventilation and suitable temperature, medium and small storage facilities should be kept completely enclosed, equipped with iron security doors and windows, which can be locked with two locks per door. Large storage areas can be made relatively enclosed by using partitioning devices within a certain area, and visual surveillance equipment can be installed for safety monitoring. (2) A toxic gas leakage alarm device is installed. 3. Small packaging of reagents: Highly toxic chemicals are stored in anti-theft safes, which must meet the standards for Class A anti-theft safes as specified in **standard (GB10409-89). The weight is less than 340 kilograms. To secure the safe to a concrete wall or floor, the warehouse should be equipped with anti-theft doors and windows that meet **safety standards**.
