Today, I read in a book on mechanical maintenance that \"...for any pipes whose temperature is higher or lower than the installation temperature (taken as 32 degrees Celsius), thermal expansion and deformation, as well as compensation for these effects, must be taken into consideration.\" Question: In the actual process of installing pipes, does the temperature mentioned refer to the operating temperature of the fluid flowing through the pipes, or merely the temperature requirements during installation? Are there any specific standards regarding this?
The design service temperature of a pipeline can also be referred to as the temperature of the medium transported within it.
