Which one? Gas or liquid? This is the standard approach for use; whether it works well or not depends to a large extent on the user, including factors such as the selection of measurement points and the methods of installation, among others. Of course, there are still differences between different brands. I admit I didn’t use it well :'(
The accuracy of portable ultrasonic flowmeters can theoretically reach Class 1, but in practical applications they should be used at Class 1.5. Use it to compare with other flowmeters, limited to use as a reference or for fault diagnosis.
You can ask Yu Lichen from the Shanghai office of FLEXEN ultrasonic flowmeters; he is quite an authority in this field.
Portable ultrasonic meters have an accuracy of 2% to 5%; they can only be used for rough comparison with other flowmeters, and cannot be used for calibrating flowmeters, as flowmeters based on electromagnetic principles have much higher accuracy than ultrasonic ones
Portable ultrasonic flowmeters do not have high accuracy. If the difference between other flowmeters and the empirical values is large, it can be used as a reference, but not as the actual value. Generally, this flow meter is suitable for measuring liquid flow rates.
