The operation in sulfur chemistry is desulfurization, including rough desulfurization and refined desulfurization, with the target level being 0.1PPM in the synthesized methanol. For CH4, when coke oven gas is used as the feedstock, due to the high proportion of CH4, methane conversion methods (including partial steam conversion and pure oxygen conversion) are employed; whereas for cases where coal is the only feedstock, CH4 is not considered. For the excess CO beyond the desired proportion, a conversion process is used to transform the excess CO into CO2 and H2, and the excess CO2 is then removed.
