I would like to ask the experts here: has anyone worked on the foundations for caustic soda storage tanks? What type of foundation is generally used for such tanks? What references can be used for the foundation design of tanks for acids and alkalis? Thank you
Storage tanks are generally cylindrical in shape, so circular foundations should be used primarily. From my experience, the foundations of storage tanks are mostly circular, with few exceptions. Therefore, in my opinion, regardless of whether it is acidic or alkaline, the foundation should be designed based on the shape of the storage tank.
