The working procedure of heatless regeneration dryer, what is the adsorption regeneration time?
The heatless regeneration dryer is different from the internal heating or external heating type only in the regeneration method. During operation, one of the two tanks always adsorbs and the other regenerates, and the cycle repeats.
From the perspective of energy saving, it is not recommended to use a heatless regeneration dryer. The compressed air is wasted too much. Try to consider using the compression heat regeneration dryer of the compressor.
Adsorption and regeneration are two opposite processes. One tower is adsorbed and the other tower is regenerated. Their time is set, and each company is different. The cycle period is 10 minutes, and some are 10+ minutes (I have come into contact with them). The process is like this: After starting up, the two towers take in air and the adsorbent adsorbs, and then the vent valve of one tower is opened to exhaust air through the muffler. This is a regeneration process, while the other tower is adsorbing at this time. When the set regeneration time comes, the two towers switch, and so on. The heatless regenerative dryer has a relatively simple structure, relatively low cost, and fewer faults, but its biggest disadvantage is that it wastes a lot of air!
I am currently responsible for servicing heatless regeneration dryers from Ingersoll Rand, Newmantech, and Zhangzhou Zhendong, as well as Kaiser's combined dryers with heat regeneration. I feel that Kaiser's has the best effect but is too expensive, while Zhendong's is the cheapest but has more faults.
The time can be set, and adsorption and regeneration can be switched according to time. During operation, one tower adsorbs and the other tower dries.
Hangzhou is the production base for compressed air purification equipment and the earliest place to produce compressed air dryers in China. The best quality products should be found in Hangzhou, such as Hangzhou Ultrafiltration, Hangzhou Shanli, Hangzhou Colin, Hangzhou Lin'an Tiancheng, Hangzhou Shanda and other well-known compressed air drying companies.
