How is it to work in the construction management department of an engineering company?

I am a graduate student in safety engineering (chemical process safety), and I work in the construction management department of an engineering company (a design institute formerly under the Ministry of Chemical Industry) where I am responsible for on-site safety management. I need to travel frequently, and it’s possible that I will be abroad as well. I was wondering, how is this job, and what are the prospects for career development? I’m very hesitant; it doesn’t matter much now that I’ve just graduated, but what will happen once I get married? If I go into this field, can I switch to a more stable job in the future? I would also appreciate any advice from fellow users who have done or are currently doing this kind of work; thank you!
I personally don’t really like living a life of constantly being on the move. . Fortunately, I’m in the design section. .

Take the chance to explore more while you’re young; once you get older, you won’t have the opportunity. As for changing careers, it should be relatively easy, as society is constantly developing
It depends on what you want. If you desire a simple life, then find a job that doesn’t require you to go out often. If your family doesn’t have much money, I suggest you keep working, unless you can find a better job. The goal at this stage is to earn as much money as possible; it would be better to consider going abroad once you have enough money and experience, right?
